Sophia Perennis is most of all concerned with the universal and perennial sophia which lies at the heart of all the great traditions that have molded the life of humanity. It is also especially concerned with the application of this immemorial knowledge to problems of the modern world as well as to comparisons and contacts between various forms of this sophia; and to the confrontation between Wisdom itself and those non-traditional modes of thought which have emanated from the West since the Renaissance and which have spread their branches to many centers of the traditional civilizations themselves. 

We invite scholars and thinkers from all over the world who are concerned with these issues to contribute to the journal, which hopes to undertake the task of intellectual exchange and discourse on a level never attempted before in this part of the world.
