In addition to his works in Shiite jurisprudence, he wrote some books on Sufism. One of his important Sufi writings is a treatise called Tashviq al-Salikin. Among the most important topics of this treatise is a description of the ways of thejourney on the path to God and proves that the chain of initiation of the Sufi sheikhs goes back to the Imams. The author introduces Sufi rules and manners and shows how they are based on the Imams' way of life. Majlesi believes that Sufism is the reality of Shiism and they are essentially the same. In this paper I introduce the three existing manuscripts of this treatise and my critical edition of it. ملا محمّد تقی مجلسی اوّل از معاریف بزرگان شیعه در دوره صفویّه بوده که علاوه بر آثار فقهی دارای تألیفات عرفانی نیز می باشد که از جمله مصنّفات عرفانی وی رساله <em>تشویق‌السالکین</em> می‌باشد. در این نوشتار، ضمن تصحیح انتقادی رساله مذکور به شرح احوال عرفانی مؤلّف و موضوع صحت انتساب رساله <em>تشویق‌السالکین</em> به مجلسی اول پرداخته شده است. از اهمّ موضوعات این رساله، شرح مبانی معرفتی سلوک الی الله واثبات انتساب معنوی بزرگان صوفیه به ائمه ^(ع) می‌باشد. همچنین مؤلّف با ذکر شواهدی، خاستگاههای آداب و مناسک صوفیانه را مبتنی بر سیره انبیاء و ائمه‌^(ع) معرفی کرده و حقیقت تشیّع را تصوّف حقیقی دانسته و قائل به پیوند و یگانگی بین این دو شده است. http://www.javidankherad.ir/article_32944_08d64daa10339a98d9d9fa9145b7cca8.pdf
