East Asia is at the eastern side of Being, the side of spirit and spirituality, and it is destined historically to turn into Nothingness. Whereas Greek is situated at the western side of Being, to which belong the corporeal and all corporealities, and its historical destiny is Being. While, what is applicable to Iranian culture and civilization is neither eastern nor western. In fact, it is universal and exhaustive embracing both East and West and inherits a kind of spiritual thinking which encompasses both eastern and western aspects. The spiritual truth of Heart in human beings, according to Muslim mystics, is a mediation between pure spirituality and pure corporeality i.e. the station of isthmus (Barzakh). Consequently, Iran has a strong interrelation with the station of Heart (Maghame –Del). Therefore, Iranian culture is in a total harmony with Islam as a universal religion. فرهنگ و تمدّن ایران در میانۀ دو فرهنگ و تمدّن بزرگ قرار گرفته است. یکی فرهنگ و تمدّن شرق آسیا و دیگر فرهنگ و تمدّن یونان. شرق آسیا در جانب شرقی وجود، جانب روح و روحانیّات قرار می­گیرد و تقدیر تاریخی آن نیستی است و یونان در جانب غربی، جانب جسم و جسمانیات است و تقدیر تاریخی آن هستی است. در این میان احکام فرهنگ و تمدّن ایران نه احکام جانب شرقی و نه احکام جانب غربی است. فرهنگ و تمدّن ایران جامع شرق و غرب است و میراث­دار صورتی از تفکّر معنوی است که هم ناظر به وجوه شرقیّه است و هم ناظر به وجوه غربیّه. حقیقت معنوی قلب نیز در وجود آدمی، بنا بر نظر عارفان مسلمان مقام برزخ و واسطۀ میان روحانیّت صرف و جسمانیّت صرف است. بنابراین ایران را تعلّق و پیوندی وثیق با مقام قلب حاصل می­آید. به همین جهت میان تاریخ و فرهنگ و تمدّن ایران با اسلام، در مقام دین جامع، وفاق و قرابت و تلائم کامل برقرار است. http://www.javidankherad.ir/article_91453_70ea5dfe6fbf18f0057e0066444ca3c6.pdf
